The Spanish city of Valencia has earned the nickname “The Land of a Thousand Bands” due the overwhelming number of musicians that live there. ‘Music & Legacy’ invites audiences to explore the beating heart of this musical community through the eyes of some of its oldest residents. Retired musician Fernando shares the profound impact that music has had on his life and why he chose to form a band of senior citizens. Through Fernando and his band leader Vicente we examine the effects of music on our wellbeing, its power to unite communities, and the importance of sharing the gift of music to new generations.
